After months of waiting, Cannabis 2.0 is finally here and about to hit The Hunny Pot Cannabis Co. shelves! It’s the perfect time to provide some introductory information about the products that you will soon be able to purchase. 

Since October 17, 2018, dried and fresh cannabis, seeds for home cultivation, pre-rolled joints and oils have been legally available to consumers. Now, at the start of 2020, the industry will be releasing a new wave of cannabis products; edibles, topicals, concentrates, and beverages.

It is time to breakdown the new options for Cannabis 2.0:

FIRST | EDIBLES 

ABOUT: These products will come in a variety of forms including gummies and chocolates. 

THC LIMIT: 10MG per package. 

PRODUCT RULES: No added vitamins or minerals, no nicotine or added alcohol and limits on caffeine. 

PACKAGING: Child-resistant and must be plain. 

SECOND | TOPICALS 

ABOUT: These items also come in many forms; lotions, balms, creams and more and can be infused with CBD.

THC LIMIT: 1000MG per package. 

PRODUCT RULES: No nicotine or alcohol, for use only on hair, nails, or skin, not for use in eyes or damaged skin. 

PACKAGING: Child-resistant and must be plain. 

THIRD | CANNABIS CONCENTRATES 

ABOUT: Cannabis concentrates are made from extracting dried cannabis and can come in different forms; shatter, oil, or butter.

THC LIMIT: 1000MG per package.

PRODUCT RULES: No added vitamins or minerals, no nicotine, no caffeine, no added sugar, sweetener or colours. 

PACKAGING: Child-resistant and must be plain. 

FOURTH | CANNABIS BEVERAGES

ABOUT: Very similar to edibles there will be a variety of infused beverages coming to the market; teas, sports drinks, and carbonated beverages.
